御膳水からの清冽な水を源とする、六本辻近くにある静かな池。
カラマツやモミジの木々に映え、とても落ち着いた雰囲気の場所です
水面に映る木々、のどかにたたずむカルガモ、そして軽井沢の気候が織成す情緒豊かな景色。１周20分程で、のんびり散策するのにもってこいの場所です。

軽井沢をこよなく愛した作家堀辰雄に関する資料を展示する記念館。
『風立ちぬ』などの名作で知られる堀辰雄は、追分に惹かれ、この地を舞台にした作品をいくつか残しています。旧宅の敷地内に建つ記念館には、初版本や直筆原稿、自らデザインした机や椅子などの愛用品を展示していまして、愛読書を陳列した書庫や晩年を過ごした旧宅も保存されております。閲覧室にも堀辰雄の関係資料が揃えてあり。この記念館を訪れることにより、堀辰雄と軽井沢の文学にふれることができます。
This memorial museum exhibits materials related to Tatsuo Hori, a writer who loved Karuizawa very much.
Tatsuo Hori, known for his masterpieces such as "The Wind Rises," was attracted to Oiwake and left several works set in this area. The museum, built on the grounds of his former residence, exhibits first editions of his works, manuscripts in his own handwriting, and his favorite items such as a desk and chair he designed himself. The reading room also has a collection of Hori Tatsuo's related materials. By visiting the museum, visitors can learn more about Tatsuo Hori and the literature of Karuizawa.
